In this module, all the spacer sequences from the CRISPR loci of the bacterial genomes were blasted against the genomic sequences of phages in our database. The interaction networks could be browsed at the species or genus level of the bacterial organisms. The information for the interacting spacers and their targeting proto-spacers, as well as the phage genomic content near proto-spacers are provided. If the proto-spacer is located in a protein-encoding region, the corresponding protein information is also provided. Each phage genomic sequence is also searched for its bacterial host which is annotated in NCBI.
55,279 bacteria and phage interactions inferred based on spacer/proto-spacer matching.
1972 bacteria and phage interactions extracted from NCBI.
